The Centre for Research in Economics and Business (CREB) at the Lahore School of Economics, organized the Second International Conference on Applied Development Economics to highlight recent research from developing countries focusing on economic development. The ADE conference provides early career researchers the opportunity to obtain feedback on their on-going work; highlight recent research that can have lasting policy impact for sustainable growth in the developing world; and help to start a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas and discussions among researchers on potential collaborations. Keynote speakers at the Second ADE included Dr Adnan Khan (London School of Economics and Political Science & IGC) and Dr Ghazala Mansuri (World Bank).
