Post-Secondary Education Background and Labor Market Outcomes of Recent Graduates

This study aims to quantify how the labor market values graduates’ postsecondary educational backgrounds. Such an analysis is useful as it is aimed to help students to make informed decisions regarding where to invest their resources in decisions regarding college enrollment and help policymakers bridge the gap between the demand and the supply side of the labor market. We use an incentivised resume rating setting to understand what are the job prospects of otherwise identical students with degrees from different universities
